With the win, Santa Barbara upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Dons host Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA) to play the Spartans in a Channel bout on Thursday, February 29. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mira Costa for a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. Newbury Park will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
