The San Gabriel Matadors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Rosemead Panthers to 0 in the Matadors non-league victory on Thursday.
The Matadors now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gabrielino for a non-league game on Monday, February 26. San Gabriel will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Mark Keppel defeated Burbank (Burbank, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
