In Thursday's non-league battle, the host The Cambridge School Griffins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southwest SD Raiders.
The Griffins (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Barons come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Bonita Vista achieved victory over Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Raiders encounter the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 23. Southwest SD will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Komets come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA).
