The Harbor Beach Pirates basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Bad Axe Hatchets to 31 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vassar for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Harbor Beach will battle a Vulcans team coming off a 24-22 league loss to Capac (Capac, MI). The Vulcans record now stands at 3-17.

The Hatchets (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marlette (Marlette, MI). The Red Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 11-7 record.
