The St. Teresa's Academy Stars basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Benton Cardinals to 39 in the Stars non-league triumph on Thursday.
In their next game, the Stars face the Warrensburg Tigers (Warrensburg, MO) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 28. St. Teresa's Academy will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 15-11 record after their 62-45 non-league loss to Fort Osage (Independence, MO).
With the defeat, Benton moves to 13-8 on the year. The Cardinals host Cameron (Cameron, MO) to face the Dragons in a Midland Empire game on Monday, February 26. The Dragons enter the game with a record of 15-11.
