    The Joplin Eagles basketball team (Joplin, MO), was routed 59-38 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO)

    The Mustangs now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carl Junction for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 28. McDonald County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-41 league loss to Republic (Republic, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.

    The Eagles (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Lee's Summit North was routed by Park Hill South (Riverside, MO), 73-53, in a non-league battle.
