The Madill Wildcats basketball team (Madill, OK), was overwhelmed 50-18 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK)
The Pirates now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Inola for a Verdigris Valley battle on Saturday, February 24. Locust Grove will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 57-35 league win over Vinita (Vinita, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 21-3.
The Wildcats (13-12) will now prepare for their battle against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers come into the non-league battle with a 8-15 record. In their last battle, Dewey trounced Jay (Jay, OK), 42-39, in a non-league battle.
