Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR), 46-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Woodlawn upgrades its record to 12-15 on the season. The Bears travel to Acorn (Mena, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 25-5. Acorn won 49-48 in their recent non-league bout against Ouachita (Donaldson, AR)
