The Tigers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dickinson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. A&M Consolidated will face a Gators squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Gators record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Ball falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Calallen lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Clear Brook (Friendswood, TX)
