The Bel Air Highlanders softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Willcox Cowboys to 8 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Bel Air improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Sabino (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Sabercats in a non-league game on Friday, February 23. The Sabercats come into the game with a record of 3-0. Sabino won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ)
In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 23. Willcox will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX).
