The Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) softball nipped the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Buffaloes (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Brahmas go into the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Pewitt was edged by Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX), 12-4, in a non-league bout.
