Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Brazos Christian Eagles (Bryan, TX), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Shorthorns now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. Schulenburg will battle a Yeguas squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over BVCHEA HomeSchool (Bryan, TX). The Yeguas record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Brazos Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to BVCHEA HomeSchool (Bryan, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
