In Thursday's non-league contest, the Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), by a margin of 33-18.
With the triumph, Willow moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions host St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 1-2.
