The Sotomayor WILDCATS softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Harper Longhorns to 0 in the WILDCATS non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Sotomayor improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The WILDCATS travel to Llano (Llano, TX) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Saturday, February 24. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 4-0. Llano won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX)

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 22. Harper will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX).
