The Texas City Stingarees softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Langham Creek Lobos to 9 in the Stingarees non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Texas City moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Stingarees travel to Clear Springs (League City, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league game on Friday, February 23. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 5-4. Clear Springs lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Angleton (Angleton, TX)

In their next game, the Lobos clash with the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 22. Langham Creek will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX).
