The Wimberley Texans the visiting Weimar Wildcats softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Texans (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Apaches go into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Gonzales nudged Luling (Luling, TX), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 22. Weimar will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
