Texas High School Baseball - Boyd holds off Saginaw

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) and the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), saw Boyd's baseball team gain a win over Saginaw by a tally of 4-0.

The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Krum (Krum, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Krum held off Tarkington (Cleveland, TX), 11-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rough Riders face the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 24. Saginaw will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Kangaroos enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX).
