The Carrollton Trojans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Franklin County Lions to 2 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Troup County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. Carrollton will play a Tigers team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Franklin County drops to 5-1 on the year. The Lions host Jackson County (Jefferson, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 26. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-2. Jackson County won 15-1 in their recent non-league test against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA)
