The North DeSoto Griffins baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Cedar Creek Cougars to 3 in the Griffins non-league win on Saturday.

The Griffins now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Parkway for a non-league test on Monday, February 24. North DeSoto will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Cedar Creek drops to 2-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Benton (Benton, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 8-0. Benton won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA)
