In Saturday's non-league game, the host Hanceville Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 8-3 victory over the Cold Springs Eagles.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Bison enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, North Sand Mountain held off Sylvania (Sylvania, AL), 15-8, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 25. Cold Springs will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Winston County (Double Springs, AL).
