The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) and the host Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX), saw Crosby's baseball team get by Katy Taylor by a tally of 5-4.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tomball Kings (Tomball, TX). The Homeschool enter the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Tomball Kings held off Frassati Catholic (Spring, TX), 12-1, in a non-league battle.

Coming up next, the Mustangs clash with the Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Katy Taylor will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 7-7 non-league Waller (Waller, TX).
