In Saturday's non-league bout, the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) baseball squad the visiting Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX), by a tally of 6-1.
Next up, the Scots encounter the Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 27. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Chiefs enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Marshall Academy (Holly Springs, MS).
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Mater Dei edged St. Mary's (Stockton, CA), 4-0, in a non-league bout.
