The Hillcrest Jaguars baseball squad (Evergreen, AL), 11-8 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS)

With the triumph, Northwest Rankin moves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars host West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 8. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 5-3.

The Jaguars now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgiana for a non-league contest on Monday, March 17.
