Alabama High School Baseball - Hokes Bluff loses to Oxford

Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL), 12-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Oxford advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, AL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West End for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. Hokes Bluff will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 19-9 non-league win over Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
