The Leesville Wampus Cats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting LaSalle Tigers to 3 in the Wampus Cats non-league win on Saturday.
The Wampus Cats now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickering for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25.
With the defeat, LaSalle drops to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, LA) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, February 24. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-2. Vidalia won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA)
