The Roswell Hornets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats to 1 in the Hornets non-league win on Saturday.

The Hornets now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Johns Creek for a 5A Area 7 test on Tuesday, February 25. Roswell will clash with a Gladiators team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Locust Grove drops to 3-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 3-2. Oconee County won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA)
