Texas High School Baseball - McKinney holds off Sanger

The McKinney Lions baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Sanger Indians to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherman for a non-league test on Monday, February 24. McKinney will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Sanger drops to 1-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Denton (Denton, TX) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league test on Monday, February 24. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 0-1. Denton 3-3 in their recent non-league test against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX)
