Mississippi High School Baseball - Mooreville holds off New Site

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) and the host New Site Royals (New Site, MS), saw Mooreville's baseball team gain a win over New Site by a tally of 13-9.
The Troopers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mantachie (Mantachie, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Mantachie was overwhelmed by Hatley (Amory, MS), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Royals face the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 25. New Site will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Belmont (Belmont, MS).
