Texas High School Baseball - Nimitz defeats Sherman

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Nimitz Vikings baseball team scored a close 8-3 victory over the Sherman Bearcats.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Creekview held off Sam Houston (Arlington, TX), 5-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bearcats face the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 24. Sherman will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Sanger (Sanger, TX).
