In Saturday's non-league bout, the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) baseball squad the visiting North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), by a tally of 10-8.
Next up, the Cubs encounter the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 22. University Lab will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA).
The Griffins (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record.
