The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) and the visiting Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), saw St. Andrew's Episcopal's baseball team get by Pearl by a tally of 9-8.
The Saints (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lamar (Meridian, MS). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Lamar was tipped by Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS), 10-7, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pirates face the Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 25. Pearl will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Arrows enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Senatobia (Senatobia, MS).
