Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host White River Tigers (White River, SD), 62-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Little Wound upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year.
The Tigers now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakota Tech for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. White River will face a Tatanka squad coming off a 60-59 non-league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Tatanka record now stands at 3-16.
