The Sedgwick County Cougars basketball squad (Julesburg, CO), was nudged 49-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lotus School For Excellence Meteors (Aurora, CO)

With the victory, Lotus School For Excellence advances its record to 16-5 on the year. The Meteors travel to Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO) to meet the Scorpions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Scorpions enter the battle with a record of 4-15. Dolores Huerta Prep won 41-34 in their recent non-league battle against The Colorado Springs School (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Cougars now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merino for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 26. Sedgwick County will meet a Rams squad coming off a 49-47 league loss to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Rams record now stands at 6-13.
