Minnesota High School Basketball - Marshall triumphant over Mesabi East

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN) and the visiting Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN), observed Marshall's basketball team overwhelm Mesabi East by a score of 90-53.
The Hilltoppers (7-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida (Cloquet, MN). The Ogichida come into the non-league challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida trounced Floodwood (Floodwood, MN), 94-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Giants encounter the Greenway Raiders (Coleraine, MN) in a AA Section 7 challenge, on Monday, February 24. Mesabi East will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record.
