The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD) and the host Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD), observed Wolsey-Wessington's basketball team edge Mobridge-Pollock by a score of 60-54.
The Warbirds (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Warner was tipped by James Valley Christian (Huron, SD), 61-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) in a A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, February 28. Mobridge-Pollock will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Buffalos come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 64-62 non-league loss to Lyman (Presho, SD).
