Ohio High School Basketball - Turpin sneaks past Monroe

The Turpin Spartans basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Monroe Hornets to 42 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. Turpin will play a Knights team coming off a 74-49 non-league win over Batavia (Batavia, OH). The Knights record now stands at 19-4.

With the loss, Monroe falls to 16-7 on the campaign.
