In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Wahpeton Huskies basketball team scored a big 60-29 triumph over the Standing Rock Warriors.

The Huskies (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Valley City (Valley City, ND). The Hi-Liners go into the A Region 1 contest with a 11-9 record.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks (Bismarck, ND) in a A Region 4 contest, on Friday, February 28. Standing Rock will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Skyhawks go into the contest with a 20-3 record after their 69-66 non-league win over Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND).
