In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Huntington Beach Oilers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Peninsula Panthers.
The Oilers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Redondo Union beat Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA).
