The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers (Mount Hermon, MA) and the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), witnessed Northfield Mount Hermon's ice hockey team nip Loomis Chaffee School by a final score of 2-1.

The Hoggers (14-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Wild Boars come into the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Choate Rosemary Hall School was nipped by Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT), 8-2, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pelicans battle the Millbrook School Mustangs (Millbrook, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 23. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-14 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Hoosac (Hoosick, NY).
