In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting George Jenkins Eagles baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Lake Region Thunder.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Bartow (Bartow, FL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Bartow was overwhelmed by McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL), 11-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Thunder play the Bartow Yellow Jackets (Bartow, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. Lake Region will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
