With the triumph, Dr. Maya Angelou Community moves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 17-3. Sylmar won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Bernstein (Hollywood, CA)

The Toreadors now sport a 5-15 record.
