In Saturday's non-league test, the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) softball squad got by the visiting Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino, CA), by a count of 7-6.
Next, the Broncos meet the Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Vista Murrieta will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Oilers go into the test with a 4-0 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Foothill (Santa Ana, CA).
The Falcons (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Etiwanda held off Poly (Riverside, CA), 8-0, in a non-league test.
