The Ennis Lions softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Arlington Colts to 4 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kerens for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. Ennis will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Arlington moves to 0-2 on the season. The Colts travel to Maypearl (Maypearl, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 22. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Maypearl lost 12-0 in their recent non-league battle against Godley (Godley, TX)
