Texas High School Softball - Caprock bounces West Plains

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Caprock Longhorns softball team scored a tight 6-2 win over the West Plains Wolves.
The Longhorns (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels come into the 5A Region I District 3 match with a 8-10 record. In their last match, Tascosa was routed by Montwood (El Paso, TX), 10-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wolves confront the Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 22. West Plains will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX).
