The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) and the visiting Winnsboro Raiders (Winnsboro, TX), observed Longview's softball team get by Winnsboro by a tally of 6-5.

The Lobos (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Slocum (Elkhart, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Slocum was nipped by Frankston (Frankston, TX), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 24. Winnsboro will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX).
