New Mexico High School Softball - Manzano drops to Valencia

Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 21-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Valencia improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Jaguars host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Thursday, March 6. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Monarchs now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Highland for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27.
