In Saturday's non-league test, the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX), by a tally of 13-2.
Next, the Rams clash with the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 25. Montwood will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 10-2 record after their 19-3 non-league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX).
The Bronchos (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Midway (Waco, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Midway prevailed over Midlothian (Midlothian, TX), 8-2, in a non-league test.
