Texas High School Softball - Sundown bounces Muleshoe

The Sundown Roughnecks softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Muleshoe Mules to 1 in the Roughnecks non-league win on Saturday.

The Roughnecks now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Littlefield for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Sundown will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Muleshoe moves to 7-4 on the season. The Mules travel to Levelland (Levelland, TX) to confront the Lobos in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Lobos come into the battle with a record of 8-0. Levelland won 16-2 in their recent non-league battle against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
