The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) and the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA), saw Paramount's volleyball squad nip Whitney by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Paramount upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pirates host Pioneer (Whittier, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 25. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Pioneer won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to North for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 1. Whitney will play a Saxons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 2-4.
