The Porter-Gaud Cyclones triumphed over the host James Island Trojans lacrosse team by a score of 19-1 in Wednesday's league match.
With the win, Porter-Gaud upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cyclones host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to play the Swampcats in a SCISA AAA Region II match on Friday, February 25. The Swampcats go into the match with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, James Island falls to 1-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Bishop England (Charleston, SC) to meet the Battling Bishops in a 4A-1A Lower challenge on Friday, February 25. The Battling Bishops enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Bishop England won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC)
